An annual Delphinium that is one of the earliest Spring flowerers and more vigorous than the perennial species. They are large, upright plants with the foliage finely cut and feathery. Growing to 90 cm (3 ft) tall and producing rich, deep blue, lilac, rose, pink and white, double flowers that are perfect for cut flowers or dried arrangements. Vase life is 10 days long.
Of the annual Delphiniums, this is one of the best varieties with dense flower spikes in a range of brilliant colours. It is good for use along the rear of borders, along fences and walls or just mass planted.
